Dave Guisti- Cardinals Trade Four Players for Him

 

After the 1968 World Series, the Cardinals traded Dan Breeden, Ed Spezio, Ron Davis and minor leaguer Phil Knuckles for Dave Guisti. He had turned down an offer several years earlier to play for the Cardinals as he went the path of the Houston club believing it was a faster path to the major leagues. He only played for one season in a Cardinals uniform.
