Patsy Donovan Managed 1901-1903 and also coached a President of the United States

Patsy Donovan was player-manager for the Cardinals for three seasons. He also managed five other teams in his major league career. As a player he hit .300 with the most games being in Pittsburgh.

After major league retirement, he ran a baseball academy in Massachusetts and one of his players was former President of the United States George H.W. Bush.
